The Subtle Intoxication of the Authentic Communications

Delivered Through San Sebastián de Garabandal

This Is How Far They Are Willing To Go

Originally Published on April 23, 2008

PURPOSE

The purpose of this document is to assist the reader in identifying how the information delivered through the Marian Apparitions in San Sebastián de Garabandal is being intoxicated to further disorient the Faithful.

BACKGROUND

For a general background to the Marian Apparitions in San Sebastián de Garabandal the reader, who may not be familiar with them, may visit our Garabandal Page (1).

To understand why there is a concerted effort to intoxicate the Messages through San Sebastián de Garabandal the reader, who may not be familiar with them, may visit our Page (2) where we explain with great detail the reasons behind it.

INTRODUCTION

To accomplish the purpose of this document we have quoted documents and books from alleged impeccable sources ("impeccable" at least in the eyes of the innocent and uninformed Faithful). The quotes speak for themselves. We will limit ourselves to make the appropriate and brief comments to assist the Faithful in seeing through their plans.

DETAILS

A. An altered interpretation of Conchita's words conveying that after John XXIII there were only three Popes left:

JOHN PAUL II : IS HE THE LAST POPE? (3)
By Fr. Francois Turner, Blois, France
...
As to the second question, according to Star On The Mountain, this prophecy does not tell us whether or not there will be popes after John Paul II. It is possible that the role of the papacy will change in some of its modalities - some might be tempted to say that this is likely. But to say that the papacy will disappear does not seem to be in keeping with Paul VI who stated that the papacy is a permanent institution of the Church - a tenet that is traditional in the Catholic Church.

In summary, Conchita's startling pronouncement made at Garabandal could signify the coming of a great epochal even around the end of John Paul II's reign which could coincide with the close of an era.
...

A-1. The endorsement of the above by the well respected Joey Lomangino - a man considered by most Mr. Garabandal follows:

A Message From Joey Lomangino (4)
April 4, 2004
...
For those interested in the Garabandal prophecy tied to the passing of this Pope, our website features the article - John Paul II : Is He the Last Pope? - by Fr. Francois Turner published in Garabandal Magazine (1972-2002) by the Workers of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in New York. This article contains one of the earliest and most prudent reflections on the prophecy by a priest. Fr. Turner (RIP), an expert on Garabandal, was known as a man of intellect, candor and accuracy.
...

A-2. The tremendous circulation such creative interpretation has had is illustrated here: (5)

Instant internet communication at the time of the death of Pope John Paul II showed the value of our website for future Garabandal Events.

In response to the need for clarification of the prophecy of the three popes, over 1.3 million hits registered on the Prophecies page in the first weeks of April. Fr. Turner's article on that page - John Paul II : Is He the Last Pope?- taken from the l979 back issue of GARABANDAL Magazine, helped to alleviate the confusion.

A-3. The apparent endorsement (not officially confirmed) of Fr. Turner by Benedict XVI follows: (6)

The French theologian, P. François Turner O.P., is one of the favorite theologians of Pope Benedict XVI because of the great theological study he did on the Apparitions of Garabandal.

[The page's author does not give any indication as to where such statement originated from. Translation to English by The M+G+R Foundation.]

A-4. The strong endorsement (not officially confirmed either) of Garabandal by Benedict XVI given by Garabandal International: (7)

He knows of Garabandal. Not only has he met Conchita, he has all the papers, testimonies of miracles, etc. performed through the intercession of Our Lady of Garabandal, sent to him by the well known promoter and lover of Our Lady, the late Fr. Francis Benac, S.J.

A-5. The ease with which the poison is mixed with the nourishment, so that it will be joyfully consumed by the innocent, may be seen since the same Site notes: (7)

It is worthwhile to note that the last Pope Benedict reigned during the First World War. He is credited with settling animosity between the traditionalists and modernists and wanted to bring about a reunion with the Orthodox Christians. The Garabandal Miracle promises a reunion of all the churches. Let us pray it is in the reign of Benedict XVI!

When John Paul II was elected, the focus was on East-West relations, and the Polish pope was credited with helping to bring down political communism. Let us pray that Benedict XVI can help stop the invisible cloud of atheistic communism that is spreading throughout the whole world, both east and west.

This man is not a radical, nor an enforcer. He is not a cop or a rottweiler. He is a serious, humble, educated, pious, and brave man. He is guided by the Holy Spirit, under the mantle of Our Blessed Mother. He is the leader of a billion Catholics throughout the world.

B. A completely bogus version of the dialogue wherein Conchita transmitted the information about the last Pope, has been published. We have translated from the Spanish version (8) the key areas:

.....
Alone at home, fearing a possible error from Conchita's part, her mother's asks her:

How do you know that there will only be three more Popes?

Conchita answered:

The Blessed Virgin told me. In reality She told me that there would FOUR Popes but She was not counting one of them.

Aniceta then says:

Then, why not count one of them?

Conchita responds:

She did not say; She only told me that one would not be counted; however, he would govern the Church for a very short time.
.....

B-1. The origin of such poison seems to be in the book "Garabandal - Der Zeigefinger Gottes" (Garabandal - The Finger of God) by Albrecht Weber.

This deviation from the truth is reported, with great skepticism, in a Spanish Page (9). Unfortunately we cannot locate the book to confirm that such statement appears in it. Therefore, we cannot state that Mr. Weber is the source of the poison. The problem really is that everyone is counting Benedict XVI as a real Pope and not the AntiChrist (10); therefore, they will adjust whatever they must adjust to fit the erronous notion that John Paul II was not the last Pope.

B-2. Cleverly, John Paul II is placed as a defender of Mr. Weber's alleged theory by making sure that everyone knows about John Paul II approval of Garabandal through his communication to Mr. Weber. (11)

There is a book on Garabandal, written by Albrecht Weber in 1993, entitled Garabandal Der Zeigefinger Gottes (Garabandal: The Finger of God), of which a first edition copy was presented to Pope John Paul II. He later asked his secretary, Fr. (now Archbishop) Stanislaus Dziwisz, to write to the author. In the subsequent printing (2000) of the book, on page 19, a portion of the Pope's message is reprinted, as follows:

"May God reward you for everything. Especially for the deep love with which you are making the events connected with Garabandal more widely known. May the Message of the Mother of God find an entrance into hearts before it is too late. As an expression of joy and gratitude, the Holy Father gives you his apostolic blessing."

Weber writes, "From the attached greeting in the Pope's own handwriting, with his signature, it is clear how deep an interest he has in the events of Garabandal, and how anxious he is that they should be made known in a credible way."

This endorsement is quoted by Geofrey A. P. Groesbeck, of The Workers of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel de Garabandal, (11) who has been shown to espouse the "Four Popes" theory. What is amusing - if one enjoys dark humor - is that Mr. Groesbeck gives as his reference an article by Barry Hanratty who publishes the Garabandal Journal [reprinted (12) in Mr. Groesbeck Site]. In Mr. Hanratty's article NO mention is made of the alleged "Four Popes" theory.

How could anyone expect the poor Faithful to keep this mess straight, is truly a mystery.

Mr. Weber's endorsement by John Paul II in the alleged original publication (12) follows.

After the publication of his book Garabandal - Der Zeigefinger Gottes (Garabandal - The Finger of God) in 1993, German businessman Albrecht Weber sent a copy to the Vatican with some other documents. The book came into the hands of the Holy Father, who asked his secretary Msgr. (now Archbishop) Stanislaus Dziwisz to write to the author. In a second printing of the book in 2000, on page 19, is an excerpt from this letter. The following translation was done by the Our Lady of Mount Carmel of Garabandal Association, London, England, and appeared in a special supplement to their newsletter dated June 2000:

"May God reward you for everything, especially for the deep love with which you are making the events connected with Garabandal more widely known. May the Message of the Mother of God find an entrance into hearts before it is too late. As an expression of joy and gratitude, the Holy Father gives you his apostolic blessing." ?(signed) Msgr. Stanislaus Dziwisz

Accompanying this letter was a greeting by the Pope in his own handwriting. In this regard, the author states, "It is clear how deep an interest he has in the events of Garabandal, and how anxious he is that they should be made known in a credible way."

CONCLUSION

It looks like that they are setting up Garabandal in a "launching pad" with John Paul II and Benedict XVI as its twin-engines, yet, in an unofficial and indirect manner. In this way, should any of their plans is caused to fail, as some have in the past, neither Pope would lose credibility.

Just as it is required for their commandeering (2) of the Warning and Miracle for their own purposes, they need to neutralize one of Garabandal's prophecies and make Benedict XVI a credible Pope.

Against all that sea of confusion the Faithful has the solid and most valuable and original testimony of P. Eusebio García Pesquera recorded in his book "She Went in Haste to the Mountain". A testimony which miguel de Portugal concurs fully with. In this book - the "only three Popes after John XXIII" commentary is clarified by Conchita beyond doubt. Blessedly, the Garabandal student may downloads the three parts of said book from St. Joseph Publications (13).

Even though P.Eusebio leaves no doubt whatsoever that what Conchita said and confirmed was that after John XXIII there would only be three more Popes, Mr. Groesbeck has the audacity of twisting P. Eusebio's words to suit their purposes thus: (14)

And if the end of the times means an end to a specific era or epoch (as García de Pesquera and others argue), and not an end to time in an eschatological sense, there is no contradiction in saying that there will be a successor pontiff and therefore that another will see the miracle instead of the present pope.

Now they even have Benedict XVI "Papacy" marking The Start of a New Era (7). Amazingly enough - they are indeed right: Benedict XVI inaugurated the Era of the AntiChrist and the False Christ. As we have said many times - even satan must serve God!
